Comment on George's blog

Dear blog readers, I have commented on George's blog ( http://georgeblogging.blogspot.com/ ) on his most recent post about the mudslides that happened in China.

Below is my comment :

I agree with your view on this issue. Yes, the author should not have entirely blamed it on the rescue efforts not being fast enough and the headline thirsty media. This was a natural disaster which no one could avoid.

Instead of complaining and grumbling, I feel that they should think of new ways to solve these problems, such as building dams and a dense network of canals and drainage systems so as to prevent mudslides.

However, the people there should also learn to put up with occasional mudslides. No country is perfect. Although China may experience more occasions of mudslides than other countries, they may suffer less of something else compared to the same country.
